We have a diverse heritage of flora and fauna in Northern Virginia, and we benefit from knowing and celebrating the special plants and animals in our area. Prevention is an important part of protecting our natural resources and controlling the spread of invasive plants.

Native plants help our landscapes come alive and enrich our lives. Non-native plants do not benefit local wildlife and can potentially spread plant and human diseases.
