Fairfax County has developed SHAPE the Future of Aging, a strategic plan to make the community a better place to age, and for older adults to live safely, independently, and with dignity.
The Fairfax Area Agency on Aging (FAAA) invites community members, service providers, older adults, and their caregivers to review and comment on the Draft Area Plan for Federal Fiscal Year 2026. The public comment period is open for 30 days (June 25, 2025 - July 25, 2025). Feedback collected during this time will help shape programs and services supporting older adults and their caregivers in Fairfax County.
